1-USAThe J-1 Internship Program is designed for university students and young professionals to train in the USA for up to 18 months within their major field of study as a guided work-based learning program. The Internship Program reinforces a student's or recent graduate's academic study, recognises the need for work-based experience, provides on-the-job exposure to American techniques, methodologies, and expertise, and enhances the participant's knowledge of American culture and society.

We offer two options:

1. Full Service Placement
This option is designed to offer you full assistance with the J-1 Internship Program process from start to finish. With the Full Service Placement option, Professional Pathways Australia  will find and secure a position for you. We offer paid/unpaid Internship positions in Management/Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Marketing/Sales, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management and Culinary Arts fields and other industries. We work with well established businesses throughout the U.S. 


2. Self-Arranged Placement
This option is for those whom have found and secured an internship placement on their own. All you need to do is contact us with your placement offer. We will then make sure the position matches your educational and work experience background, and we will assist you with the necessary documentation you need in order to apply for your J-1 visa, including the development of a training plan.

A range of support services are offered by Professional Pathways Australia and our partner in America to ensure you are looked after throughout your stay.
