Professional Pathways Australia provides a full spectrum of support services during your internship in Australia. Our aim is to ensure you are comfortable and happy in your new environment.
Orientation
If you are coming from overseas the first important event upon arrival in Australia is orientation. Sessions are held every Friday in the Professional Pathways Australia Melbourne and Sydney offices and run for approximately one hour. The sessions are designed to provide useful information on your upcoming internship, and also on life in Australia and helpful tips on topics such as transportation, banking, living and the workplace. You will be issued with a Welcome Pack and will be offered the chance to meet your placement consultant. An invitation to the orientation program will be sent to you prior to your departure for Australia.
Weekly newsletter
You will receive a newsletter each week from Professional Pathways Australia. Look out for them as they provide information on:
- What events are coming up in the region
- Upcoming trips and social functions
- Interviews
- Stories of interest…and much more!

Professional Pathways Australia organises social events for interns in Sydney on a regular basis. This provides a great opportunity for you to meet a diverse mix of international interns as well as Professional Pathways Australia staff. For information on social events, including the venue, check your weekly interns’ newsletter.
