How to apply for an internship in Italy...

1 Submit Application Form & all supporting documents

Read, understand and accept Professional Pathways Australia’s Terms & Conditions.

Include with application: an up-to-date CV and cover letter in English, Copy of bio-data page of passport, 1 x passport photograph.

2 Assessment made by Professional Pathways Australia

Might involve a telephone interview to confirm oral Italian competency and discuss the internship requests; processing of your application. The applicant contacted regarding the outcome of the interview. Successful applicants receive an Application Confirmation email.

3 Deposit

A deposit of AUD$700 is payable upon successful application/interview.

4 Internship Placement Process

Professional Pathways Australia sources ‘best fit’ placement using application details supplied (4 weeks).

5 Invoicing & payment

All remaining fees and additional charges including: airport pickup, accommodation etc. Invoice has to be paid at least 35 days before start date.

6 Invitation letter sent to applicant

Letter of invitation, which is needed for applying for visa, is sent to the applicant.

7 Visa application made

Applicants staying in Italy for less than 90 days do not require a visa. For those staying longer than 90 days, you will require a student visa. Professional Pathways Australia will help you with your visa application.

8 Travel arrangements made

Applicant arranges flights and insurance cover. Check Professional Pathways Australia service options. Applicant to forward flight details to Professional Pathways Australia. Airport pickup service optional.

9 Confirmation of placement

Placement will be confirmed within first 4 weeks of Italian language course.
