Event Management
My tasks at my internships ranged from contacting hotels (searching for a venue for event), requesting quotes, arranging inspections, contacting event entertainment providers, searching for a sponsorship selling agency to contacting workshop organisers, creating workshop invitation, performing general administrative tasks, attending events organised and more. What I’ve enjoyed most was the feeling that I was doing an internship in a real company with real events and not an academic course with hypothetical event planning. I really enjoyed the weather in Sydney - it’s cooler than in Brisbane where I stayed before, warmer than in Russia, pleasantly mild, random people on the street seem generally very nice and friendly to me.

Sports Management
I created documents for the upcoming season for the different soccer teams as well as prepared and organized equipment for them. I also created camp set-up and times at a local camp as well as letter to the parents, created a coaches handbook for training and games.
My supervisor was very nice and easygoing and I learnt a lot. I also enjoyed the trips on the weekends! My favorite one was the Blue Mountains by far! The stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park was AMAZING! This was my first trip of many, and was an excellent introduction to other attractions outside of Sydney. Thank you!

IT
I did a lot of different tasks at my internships - imaging PC's for New Users, setting up Softwares for users, troubleshooting and helping users solve software related problems, setting up users email account and computer profiles. I made a lot of new friends and gained a lot of experience during the three months period of the internship. Everything was great. Thank you.

Engineering
I worked on 3 different project during my 8 week internship:
1st Project: Heat loss calculation of two uninsulated feedwater tanks and possible insulations;
2nd Project: Storm water harvesting, calculation of the possible amount of water that can be collected in a year, size of the collection tanks;
3rd Project: CO2 Usage of the Hop Extract Process, improving the former model.
I really enjoyed exploring the huge factory and getting an idea of how my future work could be like. It was very exciting.
I also enjoyed living in a different country and experiencing new cultures and style of living, making new friends and comparing the working conditions in Germany and Australia!
Thank you for this great experience! I loved working at this company and I love Melbourne and Australia.
