Your organisation can benefit from interns...

Interns are highly motivated and genuinely seek experience in the company’s field of expertise. While an intern may lack long-term practical experience, they instead bring theoretical capability and knowledge that is current and beneficial to the host company. There are no prerequisites for host companies in terms of size or staff numbers. We simply ask you to:

  • allocate a supervisor from within the organisation to oversee the intern
  • work with us to develop and agree a Training Plan/Job Description for the intern prior to placement that covers a variety of tasks and which utilises the intern’s knowledge and experience within the business
  • involve the intern in the daily routines and operations of the company, as would be expected of the role they undertake
  • provide an appropriate and supportive training environment for the intern
  • contact Professional Pathways Australia if you have any concerns regarding the internship or the intern
  • provide a reference for the intern at the end of the internship.
