How to apply for an internship in France…

1 Submit Application Form & all supporting documents

Read, understand and accept Professional Pathways Australia’s Terms & Conditions.

Include: an up-to-date CV and cover letter in English and French.

2 Assessment made by Professional Pathways Australia

Involves a telephone/Skype interview to discuss the internship requests. Results emailed to applicant.

3 Deposit

A deposit of AUD$700 is payable upon successful application/interview.

4 Internship Placement Process

Professional Pathways Australia sources ‘best fit’ placement using application details supplied (12 weeks). Phone interviews with potential companies possible.

5 Invoicing & payment

All remaining fees and additional charges including: airport pickup, accommodation etc. Invoice has to be paid at least 35 days before start date.

6 Internship confirmation sent to applicant

Confirmation of location, supervisor’s name, company history and outline of the placement.

7 Convention de stage to be signed

The document has to be signed by university.

8 Visa application made

If staying more than 90 days in France, the Working holiday visa must be requested by the applicant.

9 Travel arrangements made

Applicant arranges flights and insurance cover. Check Professional Pathways Australia service options. Applicant to forward flight details to Professional Pathways Australia. Airport pickup service optional.

10 Orientation & pre-internship program commences

This element is arranged by Professional Pathways Australia and its partner and is a compulsory part of an internship.
