English Courses
To qualify for a Professional Pathways Australia Internship program in Australia you must have a minimum English language level of IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
This is to ensure you can communicate well with colleagues at your host company as well as undertake more complex tasks during your placement.
If you are from a non-English speaking country, you are expected to provide evidence of your English proficiency, such as test results for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or Cambridge.
A member of the Professional Pathways Australia staff will contact you early in the process to discuss your English language proficiency level. If necessary, we will recommend you undertake an English language course in Australia prior to the start of your internship. Generally to increase an IELTS score by 0.5 takes approximately 10 weeks.

These can be arranged to take place prior to the commencement of your internship. These English programs are specifically designed to prepare you for your internship since they focus on business communication and Australian expressions.
