Professional Pathways Australia recognises the importance of working collaboratively with Agents to ensure quality service delivery and accurate information is provided to potential internship and Professional Year candidates. With offices in both Melbourne and Sydney, Professional Pathways Australia staff  provide support to:

  • Agents that will assist them in the consultation and recruitment stages of their work with clients
  • Interns from the start to finish of their Professional Pathways Australia program.

Agents

We welcome the opportunity to establish strong partnerships with organisations that have goals, values and attributes that reflect our own. We encourage strong communication as this enables a collaborative and supportive partnership to evolve. To enable you to best represent Professional Pathways Australia, we provide the following support:

  • Agent manuals – each manual outlines the programs available and provides comprehensive information that will support your conversations with potential candidates
  • regular briefings – to keep you and your team abreast of changes to programs and services
  • marketing collateral - brochures & posters etc
  • optional seminars – Professional Pathways Australia can work in conjunction with an agent to provide detailed information sessions to potential candidates
  • staff training
  • online and phone access to Professional Pathways Australia consultants
  • timely processing of complete applications
  • official Certificate of Endorsement
  • Agent contract – recognising the unique partnership between the Agency (company) and Professional Pathways Australia.

Interns

Professional Pathways Australia takes great care to ensure the intern is fully prepared for their upcoming internship. An orientation and information session will also be conducted for them prior to their placement. 

The internship will include all of the following:

  • a customised placement that matches the intern’s experience to a role within an Australian host company
  • their own personal Placement Consultant who will monitor and support them throughout the placement
  • Travel and Personal Liability insurance (non-residents only)
  • clerical assistance with their visa application (if required)
  • endorsement of their 416 visa application^
  • weekly e-Newsletters
  • invitations to join regular social activities
  • a statement of completion from their host company
  • Professional Pathways Australia Certificate of Completion.

Optional services and activities are also available and include meeting the intern at the airport and delivering them to their accommodation; arranging English language study and one-week preparation courses; social functions; and weekend sightseeing trips.
